For the longest time I could not throw a cylinder above 8"- it drove me buggy! You know the drill, pulling up, pulling up- measure...still 8". Try again, "pull up", "pull up", so focused.....still 8".
As I mentioned in my last post, I have been ogling at John Bauman's beautiful pitchers. Once I asked him how much clay and how tall? I believe he said 4 lbs of clay and 10" tall....
WHAT??!!

And the real surprise was after shaping the cylinder I managed a little more height!
Look out 10...I'm working on it~
